India against Japan in Asia cup.
**********************************
The TeamIndia is on the way of scoring golden medal in BSNL-Asia Cup. There is no interval in this tournament. Team India scored goal margin in great differences towards his opponents. The question is still in front of us that– In future when we play in World class tournaments are we able to repeat such tremendous, fine hockey game? Are able score such big goal difference?
Incredible phase of India.
Another side we can say that ‘Chak De India’ for our team INDIA to play masterly in match field. We are very sure that team workout very hard to score high. In our team have lots of good features which is very helpful to play match masterly. Facts favouring India are handful. Confidence apart, the team has shown a filament of consistency, and succeeded in amalgamating craft, rhythm and finish. Some of the field goals scored, were heart warming indeed for pattern weaving combined with match finish.
Praises Prabhjot’s performance
Prabhjot star-striker has been outstanding, netting goals with bewitching backhanders. Prabhjot have lots stick work, high goal converting percentage . Tushar Khandekar is another striker displaying style and accuracy. Shivendra Singh, the main striker, suffers in comparison by frittering away chances either by not receiving the ball well, or often getting into awkward positions inside the circle. Rajpal singh is another promising star-striker contributes big goals.
The strength has been the systematisation and proficiency exhibited by the mid-field Gurbaj, Sardara, Bimal, Ignace and Prabodh - has contributed significantly to the showers of goals where picking the best will be an invidious exercise.
The deep defence too, manned Dilip Tirkey, along with the indefatigable Xalco, elicits a bit of praise. However, the blossoming of drag-flicker Raghunath Jha as a first rate flicker in penalty corners is the best thing that has happened.
True, he needs a little more grooming in tougher matches, but the youngster shows perceptible fighting qualities, a passion and a willingness to learn.
Opponent’s power
The Malaysians can smother the speed and accuracy, not to speak of excellent trapping abilities, then there is no reason why they cannot write a new chapter. Malaysia has never been on the podium in the Asia Cup.
The Korean power stems from the strapping drag flicker, Jang Jong Hyun, whose perfection in penalty corners has earned the plaudits of one and all here. Kim Byung Hoon is another sure shot inside the circle.
